We use your IP address to help diagnose problems if they should arise on our web server and to administer our web site. Your IP address is used to help identify you and your shopping cart and to gather broad demographic information

Please note, the packaging and images on some products listed on this site may slightly vary from the product received.

Our Return Procedures and Policy

For Adult Toys & Novelties:
We offer a 14 DAY REPLACEMENT warranty for faulty products.

When returning faulty products the customer must include the original packaging as well as the delivery receipt.

We will replace the faulty product with the same product; however the replacement product colour may vary depending on availability of stock.

AO Adult Shop does not offer a satisfaction guarantee, however true to our high level of customer service, we will ensure everything is done to keep the customers confidence.

Before you send back any "Faulty" product may we first ask you to follow a few simple testing points as follows.

We find that quite often, there is a simple solution and many seemingly faulty toys can be easily fixed by taking due care.

  • Make sure you have the batteries in correctly - this is the most common cause of malfunction.
  • Make sure the cap is tightly closed! (Especially for waterproof products)
  • Check battery contacts, springs sometimes can compress - extend them a little.
  • Check contacts for corrosion a greenish colour on the metal of the battery contact.


If, after checking all the above points, your toy is still not buzzing, we will gladly replace it.

For your information:

  • Prolonged use may result in motor failure due to overheating.
  • Use of Alkaline batteries is the most common cause of "Burnout". We recommend that only Heavy Duty batteries are suitable for use in Adult Toys.
  • All products at AO Adult Shop are battery checked to ensure they are in good working order when you receive them.


For Lingerie:
For any items or garments which are faulty, we will EXCHANGE the garments providing that:

  • The garment is returned within 14 days of receiving it.
  • The garment labels are still attached to the garment
  • The garment has not been worn (except to try the garment on for size)
  • The garment has not been damaged or soiled
  • The garment has not been altered by you in any way
  • The returned item is accompanied by the original receipt
  • The item is returned to us in it's original, undamaged packaging.


We will do our best to exchange your item for the correct size in the same style, subject to stock availability. Where we can not supply the identical style we will offer an exchange of another item of the customer's choice for the same value.
We do not exchange for incorrect choice or wrong sizing.

When purchasing pantyhose or stockings we do not accept returns or offer refunds.

* Please remember to wear a liner when trying on your lingerie bottom or an outfit that has a panty bottom. We trust that most people are honest and will take the time to try on lingerie carefully.
Exclusions
Please note, our return policy does not apply to goods which have been used and where the purchaser is dissatisfied with the content.

Getting the most from your toy
Congratulations on choosing your toys from A.O. Adult Shop.

In order to help you get the most from your pleasure toy, here are some simple golden rules & guidelines we recommend you follow:

Using and caring for your toys

  • Never use your toys on areas which are swollen, cut or inflamed.
  • Never use your toys from anus to vagina or anus to penis because of the risk of infection. Use a different toy, or cover your toy with a condom.
  • Never use a toy not designed for the purpose.
  • Never use any toy that is NOT waterproof in the shower or bath.
  • Do not allow water into the battery compartment of ANY toy that is not waterproof.
  • Always make sure your waterproof toy is TIGHTLY closed before immersing in liquid.
  • Remove batteries when toy is not in use.
  • Alkaline batteries such as Duracell, Energizer and some rechargeable types are NOT SUITABLE for pleasure toys. These batteries are TOO STRONG for vibrating toys and have a tendency to prematurely burn out the motor. To ensure maximum lifespan of your toy, we recommend the use of EXTRA HEAVY DUTY batteries. (see our Accessories section)
  • Always use rubber compatible lubricant with your toy. Oil and Vaseline ARE NOT COMPATIBLE and can cause damage to latex based materials including condoms. Water or Silicone based lubes are recommended for maximum pleasure. (see our Lotions section)
  • Use lubricant with your toys


For maximum enjoyment, we recommend that lubricant should be used with all pleasure toys. (see our Lotions section)

Cleaning your toys

  • Before inserting a toy anywhere in your body make sure that it is absolutely clean to avoid the risk of infection. Wash your toy before and after use with anti-bacterial toy cleaner or wipes.
  • All vibrators should be cleaned with either warm water and gentle soap, or an anti-bacterial toy cleaner both before and after use.
  • Please be very careful not to allow water onto the battery compartment, as this may cause corrosion and ultimately result in the "death' of your vibrator. (see our Mens Toys and Ladies Toys sections)
